About Family Dynamics

Family Dynamics operates in four locations and offers a variety of services. All of their therapists are trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. They offer individual, couples, family, and child counseling services. Moreover, they hold a weekly teen group certified to teach Triple P Parenting classes.

Services Provided:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Evidence-Based Treatment for children and adolescents impacted by taruma and their parents or caregivers.
  • This treatment modality addresses the specific emotional and mental health needs of children, adolescents, adult survivors, and families who are struggling to overcome the destructive effects of early trauma resulting from abuse, violence, or grief.
  • All FDRC therapists are trained in Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy.

Individual, Couples, Family, and Child Therapy

  • Family Dynamics offers therapy for your whole family.
  • Our therapists implement a number of treatment modalities in order to meet the unique needs of each of our clients and their individual circumstances.
  • Family Dynamics accepts clients of all ages, from three to one hundred.

Teen Group

  • Family Dynamics Mental Health Practitioners provide life skills and coping skills for teens in a supportive group setting with rotating topics.
  • Weekly group topics include mindfulness, self-esteem, managing emotions, healthy relationships, grief and loss, communication conflict resolution, and more.
  • The teen group caters to teens from ages 13-17.
  • Teen group meets on Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at 850 Parsons Drive, Redding, CA 96002.
  • Drop-ins are welcome.

Triple P-Positive Parenting Program

  • Triple P, Positive Parenting Program is one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs - backed by more than 35 years of ongoing research.
  • Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behavior, and prevent developing problems.
  • Triple P has various levels that address many parenting categories. Currently, they serve: Level 3, Primary Care Level 3, Primary Care Teen Level 4, Standard Care Family Transitions.
